A large garden in west sussex, that had been previously laid out but the planting needed updating. Planting beds are filled with shrubs to anchor the perennial plants, with the use of a strong pallet of colours to move the eye round the garden. The garden backed onto a woodland so larger shrubs were planted to the rear of the beds to blend out the planting towards the wooded area.
